SEAT Goals

Protect the Planet

Goal: To create a safer climate for people and all life on Earth, and build a more sustainable future for all.

Participating in the SEAT program helps students discover their power and pursue their passions through education, mentorship, and opportunities for hands-on learning in the climate justice movement.

Gain Valuable Skills

Goal: To gain leadership skills and experience to help with college, careers, and life.

The SEAT program is a great place to learn critical skills in civic engagement, social justice, activism, and community organizing, which aren’t traditionally covered in school.

Form Friendships

Goal: To connect with other like-minded students and mentors in a safe space and with a shared goal.

Meeting and working with other SEAT program participants, students can create, collaborate, and develop friendships with peers who share their interest and passion for climate justice.
