Peer Support Group for Climate Activists
Are you feeling the weight of climate change and the emotional toll of environmental activism? Are you looking for a supportive community where you can recharge, connect with others, and share your journey? This volunteer-led peer support group is here to provide that space.
Benefits of Peer Support:
✔ Connect with Like-minded Individuals
Join a community of passionate people who share a commitment to climate action and environmental justice. Whether you’re deeply involved in advocacy work or still finding your voice, you’ll find a supportive group here.
✔ Navigate the Emotional Impact of Advocacy
As climate advocates, we often face frustration, burnout, and emotional challenges. This group creates a space to talk about those struggles in a safe, supportive environment where you can share your experiences without judgment.
✔ Find Empowerment and Resilience
We understand that being involved in climate work can be emotionally draining. This group offers the opportunity to gain tools for building emotional resilience, managing stress, and finding balance as we continue our advocacy.
Important Disclaimer
The 350 Sacramento Peer Support Group is a volunteer-led, peer support space, NOT a therapy or mental health treatment group.
While we provide a safe and supportive environment for discussion, connection, and emotional well-being, this group does not offer clinical therapy, counseling, or mental health diagnosis. Participation in this group is voluntary and non-clinical, and facilitators do not serve in the role of therapists. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require professional support, we encourage you to seek help from a licensed mental health professional or crisis support service. We would be happy to help in providing resources.
