Prepare for a Future in Climate Justice

We offer internships for high school and college students, as well as new graduates. We also work with partnering organizations to expand opportunities for young people to build job skills and get ready for academic and/or professional careers in climate justice.

College & Career Prep Partners

In addition to our original internship program, 350 Sacramento partners with other organizations connecting students and recent grads with paid internship and work experience opportunities.

SEAT to Internship-Eligibility Pathway (REDA)

REDA (Refugee Enrichment & Development Association) works with refugees, asylees and immigrants to provide supportive resources, including translation. Our SEAT program partnership opens up eligibility to apply for 6-month internships with a paid stipend.

Youth Climate Careers Externship Program (Rising Sun)

Rising Sun Center for Opportunity provides career pathways for economic equity and climate resilience. Focusing on job skills development in green energy and the environment, Rising Sun’s Youth Climate Careers program works with students from marginalized communities to provide paid externships, placing them with local organizations (including 350 Sacramento!).

Student Services Work Experience (Sonder Solutions)

Sonders Solutions is helping break down workforce barriers for individuals from historically underserved communities, including people with disabilities. Their Student Services Work Experience program provides students the opportunity to gain experience in competitive job markets through paid job experience opportunities. 350 Sacramento partners with Sonders Solutions as a Host Employer.
