How we got here and what’s going on
On February 8th, the City of Sacramento is hosting a transportation workshop and proposing major projects to improve walking, rolling, and biking access through Sacramento. This transportation workshop comes in response to a series of letters sent by the SacMoves Coalition during a City Council presentation on the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) in October 2021, and as a result of ongoing civic engagement from community organizations including 350 Sacramento.

Our ask for you
There are a few different ways to make public comment, but often the most impactful way is by making a live comment during the meeting! The transportation workshop will be held during the February 8 Sacramento City Council meeting, once posted you can find the agenda for the meeting and more information about how to participate and make public comment via the Council Zoom call on the City’s website: http://sacramento.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=21
Please join us on February 8th and raise your voice to support projects that benefit people and our ability to walk, bike, and roll safely in and between our communities, not cars and our reliance on them to get around and live.
