The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently released its most grim report to date. The IPCC attributes a definitive causal relationship between human-induced climate change, and intensifying weather and climate events. The report warns that the wide-ranging and devastating impacts of climate change are not only increasingly irrefutable but potentially irreversible.
To prevent the worst impacts of climate change, we must rely on mobilizing our communities to stand up and take action. The actions of individuals, just like you, are the driving force for change. Be the change!
We must act now and push harder than ever to enact bold climate policy in our region using our most effective tool – citizen climate action. Please help us spread the word on this necessary climate change action, and be a leader in your community.
