Planning for the Future of Sacramento’s Climate

We know the time to make changes in how we live and work to slow the pace of climate change is NOW. In the recording of this forum below, we’ll hear from scientist Margaret Loehr, environmental justice advocate Michelle Manning, elected representative Tamika L’Ecluse, and youth advocate Grace Hill.

We’ll learn why it’s URGENT we take action to address climate change; what local governments are doing in our region to address this catastrophic world-wide crisis; and actions YOU can take that will have long term effects on daily life in your neighborhood, city, county and state.

This forum is hosted by the National Council of Jewish Women Sacramento Section, in collaboration with 350 Sacramento, Sierra Club Sacramento Group, the Environmental Council of Sacramento, Citizens’ Climate Lobby of Sacramento and the Community Resource Project.

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. https://ncjwsac.org/
