The Sacramento March for Science is a march in solidarity with the national March for Science which will take place in Washington, D.C. and with marches around the world on the same day. The mission of these marches is to celebrate a passion for science and to support and safeguard the scientific community. The goals for the marches include advocating for open, inclusive, and accessible science, affirming scientific research as an essential part of a working democracy and, of course, supporting scientists.
Recent policy changes have called science-based information into question. Science is not a partisan issue. Science is fact-based and provides objective results. It is time for people who support scientific research and evidence-based policies to take a public stand and be counted.
Join us at our monthly General Meeting to catch up on what 350 Sacramento is doing, share your thoughts, and help steer our local climate organization.
