Join us for some work on the farm, snacks, and a discussion of future activities at Yisrael Farms! Help build local sustainable economies in Sacramento food deserts by doing hands-on community garden work!  This month we join the Yisrael Family Farm’s Second Sunday workday at the Fruitridge Community Collaborative garden (the old Fruitridge Elementary school, across the street from Yisrael Farm).  The Collaborative address is 4625 – 44th Street, 95820, however since the garden is in the back, you will find it easiest to find the garden by going around the corner and entering the driveway across from 4505 Roosevelt Ave.  Wear appropriate clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, bring a water bottle.  Water and snacks provided.  Let’s create truly local food economies in Sacramento neighborhoods!
